Sometimes the SCV will get into your base before your Zealots pop up. But lets assume the SCV havn't reach your base at this point on 4 players map. Due to unit AI, the SCV will pass through the Zealot. Zealots requires 3 hits to kill a SCV. Once you have deal the first hit,
immediately pull your Zealot up a bit to deal the second hit. If you do it right, you have done 2 hits to the SCV at this point.
There is no point of chasing the SCV around as workers move faster than Zealots. Thus, let the SCV roam around your base and just leave your Zealot at the ramp to deal the final hit. Micro your Zealot well if the SCV is trying to dodge the Zealot. If he refuse to move out, the Stalker will pop up at this point to kill it.
The trick above works when the worker is leaving the base too. If properly done, you can deal 2 hits on the worker. It is essential to kill the scouting SCV to prevent it from scouting your build like 1 Gate Fast Expo, 3 Gate or Robo.
Why does this works. This principle works the same if you have played Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne online game. Warcraft players, typically use micro to block off units to slow it down. This is done by blocking the unit path in front of the unit.
If you pull this off properly by landing 2 hits on the worker, you can often times kill the scouting SCV or Probe. When facing Probes, it is essential to land 2 hits when the Probe moves up the ramp. If you land only 1 hit, the Shield will regenerate in no time.
Some players counter this by mineral walking the SCV or Probe thus bypassing the 'Path Blocking AI'. This is done by clicking the worker on a mineral patch or returning Cargo with mineral. However, this will let your Zealot to land a hit.
Try out for yourself. With good micro, you can kill the scouting SCV and probably Probe with high success rate in your online games.
