Today marks the opening games for Code S GSL 5 (Global Starcraft League 5) Round of 32 for the month of March. Group A and Group B will be playing today on 22/2/2011 at 6.00 pm KST.
GROUP A
Group A is the most anticipated group of all with two previous GSL champions; GSL 3 Champion OgsMC and GSL 4 Champion IMMvp. Both of these legendary players often deem to be the best Protoss and Terran around the world currently. Along side the champions stands ST.July, yes, July Zerg the favorite and well known Legendary Zerg player from Starcraft 1. July managed to qualify himself a spot is GSL Code S through Code A Season 4. Finally OgsHyperdub, a very good Terran from the well known team Ogs. However, being in the same group with two GSL champions and a Starcraft 1 legend, proves to be an uphill task if Hyperdub wishes to sneak through this round.
Do Expect to see some crazy plays from the very best Protoss, Terran and Zerg in the world fighting for the top two spots in this group A to further advance into the round of 16.
Set 1: IMMVP (T) vs OGSHyperdub (T) (Tel'darim Altar)
Set 2: St_July (Z) vs OgsMC (P) (Zelnaga Caverns)
Set 3: Winner of Set 1 vs Loser of Set 2 (Tel'darim Altar)
Set 4: Winner of Set 2 vs Loser of Set 1 (Crossfire SE)
Set 5: 1st/2nd place vs 1st/2nd place (Metapolis)
Set 6: 3rd/4th place vs 3rd/4th place (CrossFire SE)
Group B
EgIdra will not be showing up in GSL Code S Season 5, as he will be focusing on the American and European scene tournaments. Thus, only three players from this group will be battling for the top two spots.
Set 1: EgIdra(Z) vs TSL_clide (T)
Set 2:OgsZenio (Z) vs ZenexByun (T)
Set 3 onwards
From set 3 onwards, the pairings will be the same as GROUP A and every other groups.

Group A.
OGS MC and ST_July makes it trough to round of 16. IMMVP is down to the 'up and down matches' where he will fight a code A player to maintain his code S status.
A surprising 2-0 win for July over MvP with aggressive Banelings and Zerglings build.
Group B
Clide and ZenexByun makes it through to RO 16. OgsZenio goes down to 'up and down matches'.
