It seems that Blizzard has silently implemented the Masters League for Team games in Random Team as well as Arranged Team. This includes all team game format from 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4. So you should not be surprised if you and your team are being promoted into the Masters League for Team games suddenly. Overall, a very good implementation game for Starcraft 2 overall as Masters League was previously being found only in solo ladder league. This may be a bonus for those casual gamers or players who care favoring team games.
As an added news, Blizzard will be implementing the Grand Masters League for solo 1v1 in addition to the current Masters League in the next patch. A final and highest League that will be introduced for the very best players of each servers. Grand Master League will be for the Top 200 players of each server while the Masters League includes top 2% players.
