GSL Super Tournament RO 64 Day 8 Results

Both players from fOu (For Our Utopia) managed to made into the next round of SC2 GSL Super tournament round of 64. Choya gets a surprising win over the favourite player here oGsZenio. Choya has been performing very poorly currently being dropped out of GSL Code A. sCfOu is no doubt one of the strongest Terran player currently in Korea. He has held the rank 1 spot on the Korean online game Grandmasters league ladder for quite some time. oGsTop does not disappoint the fans either. With his impressive macro ability, Top manage to take two straight wins from August. MakaPrime.we gets a free walkover win as Nobleless does not make it in time to the GSL studio due to bad traffic.

Cheese your way into Grandmasters with Terran 3 Barracks Marines

A SC2 Terran player with the nickname of Geiko from Team Liquid has created an infamous Terran 3 Barracks mass Marines with SCV all in strategy and claiming that every amateur Terran can get into the Grandmasters league with this specific strategy. His 3 Barracks all in is definitely very strong and even works against the top SC2 players around the world. Btw for your information, Grandmasters league is currently locked so players are not able to get into the league. However, you can still have Grandmasters MMR (Match Making Rating), which in other words, you are basically having the points of Grandmasters but in Masters League.

Geiko, has proved that his 3 Barracks all in strategy works magnificently during his Battlenet online game. With an impressive record of 127-89 previously (when he first revealed the strategy), his build works against all races whether against a Terran, Protoss and Zerg opponents. Top professional SC2 players such as Mondragon, Tod, mTwRine and lots more has fallen victim to his aggressive all in build.

GSL Super Tournament RO 64 Day 7 Results

Foreigner Terran hero, LiquidJinro is out of GSL Super Tournament losing to the hands of Zenexline. Genius Terran oGsNada showed why he is still one of the top players in SC2 by taking down ZenexCoca in a long game one. ST_Virus and ZenexKyrix both made their way into the next round of 32.

GSL Super Tournament RO 64 Day 6 Results

LiquidHuk moves on into the round of 32. Foreigners rejoice over the Canadian Protoss victory over HoSeoSan a very strong Korean Protoss player. Two time GSL champion, IMNestea takes a narrow victory over oGsCezanne. Nestea showed a very interesting build implementing Speed Banelings in his Zerg vs Zerg matchup. Nestea's banelings were able to do lots of damage to Cezannes Roaches. Guess we will soon see more Baneling plays in ZvZ as well on Battlenet online game ladder.

The huge upset is probably the lost of IMLosira in the hands of PoltPrime.We. During game 1, a fast bunker and Marines from two Barracks deal a significant damage to Losira's economy. This is followed by an expansion and more Marines which took the game easily. In the final game, Polt managed to sneak some hellions into Losira's main base and killed probably 14 Drones. It all went downhill from there. Losira played poorly today and his ZvT is probably his main weakness. Hope to see more of Losira games in the future.

GSL Super Tournament RO 64 Day 5 Results

Breaking News!! oGsMC, the best Protoss in the game of Starcraft 2 has been knocked out from GSL Super Tournament during the round of 64 by none other than Slayers_Alicia. MC the favoured player went down 2 to 0 in the hands of the underdog Alicia. It is not that Alicia is a bad player, but in fact Alicia is a very very good Protoss with insane PvT results. oGsMC's undefeated PvP result of 8-0 in the matchup has finally came to an end. The shocking news has created a lot of upset MC fans.

During game 1 on Metalopolis, MC's confidence in his own personal micro and skill seems unmatched. Starting with a 2 Gate and a fast second gas acknowledge Alicia that he is going for a tech build. However, MC pulled out his Probes from the second gas and proceeded to throw down two more Gateways. Alicia on the other hand, opts for a 3 Gate Robo build. MC's Warpgate is finally done and warps in a round of Stalkers outside of Alicia's base. Alicia has 2 of his Stalkers trapped outside his base being caught off guard by MC. Alicia has around 2 to 3 Sentries with a few units at this point above the ramp. However, Slayers_Alicia showed one of the most impressive micros and Force Fields ever, using his Probes to block of MC's Zealots warped over the Force Field at his mineral line. Alicia throws down another impressive Force Field trapping down 3 Stalkers of MC below the ramp between the choke and earns a GG from MC.

PvZ 1 Gate Expo Openings- SC2 Strategy

3 Gate expand is probably the most commonly used Protoss openings in the currently SC2 Protoss vs Zerg matchup. A Zealot followed by 6-7 Sentries from 3 Warpgates into expansion used to work perfectly in this matchup. However, with the rise of the Losira's Roach with Zerglings push around the 7:30 mark made famous by IMLosira as a perfect counter to the 3 Warpgate expand, Protoss players are currently searching for new openings.

The Losira Roach/Ling push is not impossible to stop with the standard 3 Warpgate expand. However it requires multiple well placed Force Fields to survive the onslaught at the back of a nice SIM city wall at your natural expansion. You will need a well placed Cannon as well to prevent being sniped by the Roaches. In the normal 3 Gate expand, Protoss players will normally place the Pylon below the ramp, followed by a Nexus and Forge for a nice wall in and probably an additional Gateway.

Every Zerg players will be very familiar playing against the 3 Warpgate expand after facing it for such a long time. Zerg players will often poke the front of your base to determine your army composition which will easily reflects your build. The traditional 3 warpgate expand is still a very common SC2 strategy, however we are seeing more and more Stargate and Dark Templar openings by Protoss players.

Lets take a look into the1 Gate expansion opening for PvZ. I have seen this build being used a lot by the Chinese players (China Server) such as XiaoT and LoveCD, two top Chinese Protoss players. Both of these players took down EGIdra and mtw_Dimaga during the recent SC2 Gigabyte Starwars tournament. This is a tournament hosted in China with invited players from all around the world such as Idra, Whitera, oGsMC, MarineKingPrime.we and others.

This is the build order for the 1 Gate Expansion Opening

GSL Super Tournament Group Day 3 Results

TSL_Trickster or more commonly known as Tester from SC2 beta shown a very impressive performance today against Slayers_Yugioh. During game 1, Tester pulled out a very impressive 2 base Mothership rush. Everyone loves to see the ultimate Protoss battleship. Starting with a 1 Gate into Stargate and 2 more Gates, followed by an expo is perhaps the safest build that Tester can go for. Slayers_Yugioh on the other hand seems to probably trying to pull out a Losira Roach with Zerglings Rush himself. Upon revealing the Void Ray to the Zerg, Yugioh immediately canceled his Roach Warren and instead goes for a super fast Hydralisk push. However, with perfect Force Fields by Tester, he managed to deny the Hydralisks rush and soon won the game with his Mothership. We dont get to see Motherships play every day.

TheBestfOu takes an easy victory from JJun. MVPGenius the Blizzcon champion is perhaps one of the most underrated Starcraft 2 player. Today he showed very impressive plays against Slayers_Boxer the emperor himself. Boxer seems to be in a really bad slump currently. ST_July, the god of war fell in the hands of Slayers_Min the upcoming Zerg player from Slayers.

Terran Dominance on Battlenet Online Game Ladders

A quick search on sc2ranks revealed that the Terran race has been currently dominating several SC2 Battlenet online game ladders. Terran has always been the very best race since Starcraft Brood War. A majority of high caliber players has chosen the Terran race as the race is often considered giving the highest reward on the performance by the player himself.

First of all lets take a look at the top 10 spots at the currently Battlenet online game ladders from Korea, North Ameria and Europe servers. These 3 are the largest servers with player base and are deemed the most competitive among the servers. Servers such as SEA, Latin America, Taiwan, Russia and the newly launched China server will probably not give a clearer view for the results. Results are taken on 25th May 2011.

Lets take a look at the current top 10 players from the Korean online game server. A quick check here indicates that 9 of they players are Terran with only one Zerg. Not even a Protoss make it into the top 10 on the Korean ladder which is very surprising. The highest placed Protoss player is none other than oGsMC the best Protoss in the world currently at the 16th spot.

The performance of each races are more balanced on the North American Server with 3 Terrans, 4 Zergs and 3 Protoss players taking the top 10 spots. EGIdra is no doubt taking the rank 1 spot of the North American online game ladder. Idra has been performing superbly well since leaving Korea and has been dominating the North American server and has won the SC2 IPL tournament recently beating RootKiwikaki two times in a row for the grand finals and winners bracket finals.

GSL Super Tournament Group A Match 5-8 Results

Todays matches for SC2 GSL Super Tournament Group A Match 5 to 8 were very much less exciting and very one sided to be honest. Another day where no Protoss players were able to make it through into the next round. oGsInca seem to be on a slump after his lost to Nestea during the recent GSL May finals. Guess 'Inca Rules' is not working too well for him currently. Slayers_Ryung from Slayers goes through into the round of 32. This makes every Slayers members that had played these 2 days made their way into the next round. A very impressive performance by Slayers since winning their second GSTL.

SC2 Pro Gamers 2v2 Team Games

Finally, we are granted a chance to see some of the highest level professional SC2 online game replay casts for 2v2 games. It seems to be impossible to find these high level team game replays in Starcraft 2 currently, which only focuses in the solo 1v1 matches. Team games are often considered towards the casual gamers as oppose to the solo 1v1. Professional gamers spent a majority of their time in discovering and breaking the solo SC2 strategies and builds.

Thus, team games in SC2 are often left unexplored. Casual online gamers will probably play the team games with whatever strategy they deem most appropriate. Without the help of professional gamers, team games are left untouched. However, currently with the help of SC2 pro gaming team EG (Evil Geniuses), more commonly known for their players such as EGIdra and EGIncontrol, Clan EG has hosted a tournament series with a 2v2 team game thrown into the mix. They have done an excellent job in promoting the SC2 2v2 team games.

Audiences are captivated and excited at the first time experience at watching high level 2v2 team games by professional gamers. Most people are looking for new breakthrough in strategies and unit mixes and which combination of races will create the most effective results.

GSL Super Tournament Group A Match 1-4 Results

Day 1 of the GSL Super Tournament. Today we have two times GSL champion, IMMvP takes down CreatorPrime. We 2 to 1 in a long macro series. The 3rd game actually went as long as 45 minutes SC2 time. Both the Terran players from Clan Slayers made their way into the round of 32 as well. This is a bad day for clan Prime as both their players Creator and Check failed to advance. Another great Terran player from clan oGs, Supernova heads into the next round alongside with the other three Terran players.

SC2 GSL Super Tournament

The long awaited Starcraft 2 GSL Super Trounament is finally here. This will be the largest SC2 tournament hosted at Seoul Korea for the top 64 top SC2 players from both Code S and Code A. Actual invitees are based on their GSL rankings. With a total price pool of KR 202,000,000 won (approximately USD $202,000) and KR 100,000,000 Won (USD$ 100,000) for the champion this will definitely be the largest SC2 tournament to date.

Blink Stalkers Location on Tel'Darim Altar - Protoss SC2 Strategy

This is a new Starcraft 2 strategy Blink Stalkers location on Tel'Darim Altar shown by Slayers_Frozen in the recent GSTL May Finals. Frozen eventually took down his opponent, MVPKeen a Terran player using this new Blink location. The snapshots below will give you a better picture on how to pull off the new Blink location.
Step 1: Leave one Stalker on top of the edge. Blink your other Stalkers below. It is advisable to place a proxy Pylon to warp in additional Stalkers.
Step 2: Next, Blink the one Stalker over the edge to gain vision.

Clan Slayers Wins GSTL May

Slayers_MMA, often regarded as the son of The Emperor himself, Slayers_Boxer showed why he is the best Starcraft 2 Terran player in the entire Global Starcraft 2 Team League (GSTL). His awesome performances throughout both the GSTL seasons has impressed millions of SC 2 fans around the world. Today's GSTL May finals proves to be so epic that players from both teams, Slayers and MVP are throwing out their best plays and performances.

In game 1, Slayers sent out one of their top Terrans, Slayers_Ryung in hope of claiming the first few wins. However, their wish was shattered and stop cold by none other than MVPGenius, the Blizzard Invitational champion. Slayers_Min, the top Zerg player from Slayers eventually takes down Genius in Game 2 of the series evening up the score 1 to 1.

In game 3, MVPKeen, the Terran player crippled Slayers_Min with well time Hellion haress and timing push. Slayers soon sent out an relatively unknown Protoss player, Slayers_Frozen in hope of getting back in the series. Frozen pulled out a surprisingly new Stalkers Blink position on Tel Darim Altar where, he managed to Blink right into Keen's base with the help of the vision provided by a Pylon bypassing the Terran's main defense at his natural expansion and eventually taking down the Terran player with impressive micro and catching his opponent in a bad position. Fans and viewers went wild of the new discovery shown by Frozen.

PvZ Dual Stargate Void Ray - Starcraft 2 Strategy

I have been messing around with on my Starcraft 2 online game ladder matches lately trying out new builds and SC2 strategy. After watching one of Whitera's 'Secret Tactics' replays, I have been captivated by one of his Starcraft 2 tactics of getting a fast expansion followed by 2 Stargates and massing Void Rays for the Protoss vs Zerg PvZ matchup. It is very surprising how strong and effective this sc2 strategy is.

This is probably an old build first done by GuineaPig in the early season of GSL (probably season 2) where GuineaPig showed the world how effective it is going for a fast expansion on maps such as Shakuras Plateau and then massing Void Rays and eventually switching to Colossus.

Basically, the whole plan involves setting up a fast expansion. Protoss fast expansion works wonders on maps such as Shakuras Plateau and Tel'Darim Altar as you can easily wall the front of your natural expansion with Forge, Gateway, Cannons, Pylons and eventually completing the wall with a Cybernetics Core. You will then throw down 2 Stargates and upgrade the +1 Air weapon off the Core skipping WarpGate research. The most important aspect will be keeping the Zerg in the dark as long as possible while massing as many Void Rays as possible. The best number is 4-5 VoidRays with +1 upgrade.

GSTL May Day 1 Results

Global Starcraft 2 Team League (GSTL) May

The Starcraft 2 GSTL May (Global Starcraft 2 Team League) is upon us once again. GSTL is being played after the end season of every GSL (Global Starcraft 2 League) Code S finals. Previous GSTL champions, including clan Slayers and IM will once again aiming to claim the throne for this prestigious team championship. Every Korean professional gamer are fighting for the pride and glory of their clans and being called the best clan in Starcraft 2.

Clan Slayers, Slayer_Boxer's very own clan managed to take down the previous GSTL March having defeated the very strong clan IM Incredible Miracles in the finals. This was considered to be a surprise by the Starcraft 2 community as most people do not expect Slayers to be performing to well throughout the whole GSTL. We managed to see the uprising stars from Slayers clan, Slayers_MMA, Slayers_Ryung (both Terran) and Slayers_Alicia (The ultimate PvT player) performed impressively. These 3 are considered the uprising and top 3 players from Slayers.

TSL 3 Grand Finals Results and Video Casts

Two Swedes met head on head at the TSL 3 Starcraft 2 grand finals. TSL 3 is the largest SC2 online game tournament hosted by Pokerstrategy with participants from all over the world including Korea. In the end, Naniwa the MLG Dallas winner faces against Thorzain the uprising Terran in the best of 7 matchup. Both the players went through some of the world best Starcraft 2 players.

Naniwa has previously taken down LiquidRet, Goody, Cruncher and Hasuobs to reach the finals. Thorzain's way through the finals is every more interesting having taken down two GSL champions; oGsMC and Fruitdealer and LiquidTyler and Empire.Kas. This series is probably the most exciting match throughout the entire tournament. It all went down to the final 7th map. Both of these players has been performing impressively throughout the whole tournament and this will be their last match . Who will claim the glory and title of TSL 3?

Zerg Strategy ZvP Losira Rush - Starcraft 2 Strategy

Starcraft 2 Guide - Losira Zerg vs Protoss SC2 strategy

The Losira Zerg Push is currently one of the most used Zerg vs Protoss SC2 strategy matchup. I have encountered the Losira Push countless of times in my solo online game ladder. For those of you who are not familiar with this SC2 strategy, this is the Roach Zergling push popularised by IMLosira during his match against Slayers_Alicia in the recent GSL code S matches. Losira managed to take two straight games against Alicia the upcoming Protoss players from clan Slayers. (For your information Slayers_Alicia's PvT is probably the best in the world right now.)

What is the Losira Push? Basically the build involves getting 8 roaches and a large number of Zerglings. This build is extremely strong and is a perfect counters to the standard Protoss 3 Gate expand build with mass sentries which is the most commonly used build in the PvZ matchup.

A lot of you will be stating that this is an old all in SC2 strategy build that utilizes the Roach and Zergling mix.At first glance the Losira build seems to be an all in strategy. However, do not be fooled by this. You can either expand behind the pressure or tech up to Hydras etc. The build is very flexible and I seriously feel that this is one of the best Zerg vs Protoss strategy now.

TSL 3 3rd/4th Place Results and Video Casts

TSL 3 the largest Starcraft 2 online game tournament hosted by Pokerstrategy between the world best SC2 players. This will be a third place match between Thorzain, a top tiered Terran player against Hasuobs, the upcoming Protoss player. A best of 7 matched will determine the 3rd place and 4th place ranking for TSL 3.

GSL 6 May Finals- IMNestea Wins GSL 6

IMNestea wins GSL 6 May after defeating Inca from clan OGS in a straight win set 4-0 record. IMNestea now two times GSL champion sits along the other two times GSL champions, IMMvP and oGsMC. All these three champions representing each races are probably the best in the world right now. IMNestea did not disappoint his fans today in the GSL finals by taking down oGsInca so easily. Nestea seems to have so much confidence coming into today's match.

On the other hand, first time finalist oGsInca seems to be having a rough day. During the round of 32, Inca just managed to sneak a victory from TSL_Rain in a very very close series. Inca proceeded to steamrolled his way through the round of 16, 8 and semifinals with undefeated record. His awesome performance was stop cold on track by non other than IMNestea.

The matches today were very disappointing. It seems that every GSL finals were always a disappointment where one player overwhelm the other; from IMMvp vs MarineKingPrime.we series to oGsMC vs ST_July. Lets just hope we will be getting much better games in the next GSL code S finals.

Here's a brief recap of the finals for those who missed the series.

GSL 6 May Up Group E,F,G and H Results

Patch 1.3.3 Analysis

1.3.3 patch for Starcraft 2 online game has been released at the SEA server and soon will be released for the other regions. This seems to be a weird timing as the new patch is released right before two major Starcraft 2 tournament finals, TSL 3 and GSL May 6. The professional gamers will probably have a very limited timing window to figure out new builds and strategies.

Patch 1.3.3's main aim is to fix the Protoss vs Protoss matchup, where the PvP matchup is often considered the most dull and shortest match. Games often ends before the 10 minutes mark. 4 Gate is the most prevalent strategy. This is actually very bad for the game, Starcraft 2, as players are often bottleneck to perform mostly 4 Gate strategy and other builds such as Gate Robo / Gate Stargate openings just die to 4 Gates. Second, from the spectators point of view, it is always anticlimactic to watch short games for PvP thus, creating a bad publicity and image for the game.

First of all, this is the patch notes.

Protoss Fast Expo Guide in PvZ

This article will be focusing on Protoss Fast expo guide in the Protoss vs Zerg matchup. I have been using a lot of fast expo build in my online game Starcraft 2 ladder matches with a good success rate. Generally, a fast expo build involves the build of a Pylon, Forge and the Nexus build.

Often times you hear the term FFE build. I am not too sure what does FFE exactly means but I think it refers to (EDIT: Forge Fast Expand). What this build is you get your Nexus at 16 after Pylon delaying the Forge after the Nexus.

You may have seen a lot of professional gamers games involves the build of a fast expansion either before or after Forge. AnyProPrime.we definitely comes to mind as this is probably his favourite build in his PvZ matchups. Fast expo is definitely a very common strategy now.

Fast expo is very map dependent. On maps like Tel'darim Altar and Shakuras Plateau, these are the perfect maps for this build. On maps like Shattered Temple and other other maps with a huge wide ramp, fast expo build is kind of risky. Basically you need a map where you can wall from your ramp to your expansion Nexus.

Nestea proves to everyone he is still the Zerg king. The match between IMNestea and sCfOu was so close and probably the best series in GSL 6 May. sCfOu is actually very very good with his insane micro and timing pushes. Most people are not giving SC enough credit as a top level tier 1 Terran player. Nestea and SC's match boils down to the final game and probably the most epic game I have seen for a long time.

In the final game 5 on Crossfire SE, for those who are not familiar with this map, this is a GSL 2 player map. This is often regarded as a non Zerg map and pro Terran/Protoss due to its multiple choke points design. This seriously gives the Terran player multiple locations to set up Siege Tanks. Zergs are having a hard time getting up a second natural / third base at the top left or bottom right of the map.

In this epic game 5, Nestea spawns at 1 position and SC at the 7 o clock position. Nestea opens with a fast second Hatchery at the top left spot. SC scouts the expansion at the top left with a hidden SCV and this prompt a push from SC with Marines and Siege Tanks. Nestea managed to cleared up the push with a flank front both sides but just by slightly. A second attack was sent out by SC once again and this too was cleared by Nestea with an army of Roach and Banelings.

GSL 6 May Code A Finals Results

ST_Bomber wins GSL 6 May Code A after taking down IM_MVP, the best Terran in the world. Bomber outplayed MVP is the best of 7 series by taking down 4 games to 2. Bomber is definitely the most hype Starcraft 2 player and finally he showed his true skill by tearing down Code A his season easily and finally taking down the Genie Terran, IMMvP. Both of these Terran players are so good and their match today can definitely be a Code S finals.

Whitera / Duckloadra the Beast from the East

Whitera or Duckloadra (Duckload is his sponsor) is probably one of the most famous foreign Protoss player from outside Korea. A professional gamer in Broodwar and Starcraft 2, the Ukrainian legend, has made a name for himself in the Starcraft 2 scene. Whitera is often considered the top 3 Protoss players outside of Korea other than the upcoming Naniwa. His playstyle is very refined and considered an all around player. Good in micro, macro, tech, strategy and top decision making skills is what makes Duckloadra such a fearful European Protoss player.

During the GSL world championship match between the Korean team and the World, Whitera managed to take down oGsMC, the Kratoss Protoss and probably the best Starcraft 2 player to date. With his insane micro skill, Whitera managed to hold off MC's deadly 4 Gate push. Whitera then used one of his trademark Warp Prism haress to kill lots of MC's Probes and eventually taking down the legend. During the Dreamhack invitational finals, Whitera once again faced against his nemesis, oGsMC. Whitera managed to win the first two games. However, MC claimed the next 3 wins and thus the championship.

GSL 6 May Code S RO8 Day 2 Results

IM_Nestea is still the best Zerg in the world by taking down AnyProPrime.we 3-1. Nestea showed a never before new strategy against a fast expansion Protoss. Nestea Research Lair as soon as possible while being on 2 bases even before Zergling speed. Then he stopped mining Gas which teching. Soon Nestea sent out 3 Drones in front of the Protoss expansion. The overlord puke some creep in front of the expo and Nestea Built 3 Spine Crawlers right in front of the expansion. Anypro was unable to do anything to the Spine Crawlers in front of his base as his Void Ray pops up after his Nexus fell. Soon Nestea was on 3 bases, while anypro reclaimed his natural expansion. A large group of Hydras were marching across the map and took down the Nexus once again and Anypro GGs. Nestea is actually so good and seems be ahead of the other Zergs. Definitely the best Zerg.

oGsInca, the best PvP player in the world. Easily taking down TSL_Killer 3-0 in 3 short matches. Inca is so good in his Protoss mirror and even deemed above oGsMC in PvPs. Who knows.

GSL 6 May Code S RO 8 Day 1 Results

oGsNada, the Genius Terran is back. Nada played so well today taking down oGsTop, his fellow teammate from clan Old Generation Starcraft. Top is considered the best macro Terran in Starcraft 2 with his SCVs count. Top never seems to stop making SCV even for a slight second and will always be ahead in resources against his opponents. However, Nada the sexiest Starcraft 2 player (His body) and the player with the most female fans, managed to find a hole in Top's strategy.

During the first game, Nada showed a new unseen and innovative TvT opening (Some claims this strategy was first done by an European Terran?) using 2 Reapers and a SCV pushing up into Top's ramp. This small push and impressive micro by Nada managed to kill a lot of Marines and SCV's during early in the game. Nada follows up with 3 Factory pure Hellions and Tanks build. The Hellions rip apart most and nearly all of Top's SCVs count (probably 30 SCVs) and Tops only hope is an all in push. Nada is so ahead on things with his Siege Tanks defence and forcing a GG by oGsTop.

Next game, Nada defended a two barracks (1 proxied) Marines rush by Top with perfect SCV pulling count to defend the push (Nada started with a 1 rax into CC build) and eventually winning the game through a long macro war. Next game, Nada himself did a 2 Barracks Marines push but was held by Top's bunker. If the bunker didn't go up in time, Nada would have won the game at the spot but Nada managed to take down a few SCVs. A base trade occured in the mid of the game where Nada was caught off guard elevating his tanks and Top takes the game. Nada eventually took down the next game and securing himself a spot in the semifinals.

Feedback Ghost Using Minimap

This little tip has just been released in the Korean Starcraft 2 forum. According to the Korean source, this is how oGsMC, the Kratoss Protoss and two time GSL champion pulled up so many impressive Feedbacks on Ghost against his Terran opponents. Every Protoss player should learn and utilize this trick against your Terran opponents.

I have actually tried this little trick here in my games and it works wonderfully. Why is this trick so effective.

  • Ghosts unit size is very small. When bunched up in a ball with other units such as Marines and Marauders, it can be very hard to Feedback individual Ghost. The Mana bar on the Ghost is what makes the ghost distinctive from other units. Sometimes Feedback 2-3 ghost in the Terran ball can be very difficult.

GSL 6 May Code A RO8 Results

Startale Bomber lives up to his name by taking down Slayers_Ryung 2 to 0 in a very close matchup. Both games Bomber seems to be behind in the early games. However, with impressive positioning and decision making skills, Bomber managed to take down Ryung from Slayers Clan during the mid game and eventually forcing a GG from Ryung. On the other hand, Slayers_MMA overcame TSL_Alive who previously defeated Slayers_Boxer in the round of 16. MMA, often considered the young Boxer, MMA showed us why is he the very top player in Clan Slayers aside than Ryung and Alicia.

As for IM_MvP, he did not fail to prove that he is still one of the best players in Starcraft 2 or probably the best. MVP is deemed the player to have the best mechanics in Starcraft and the most balanced player. The GSL champion and GSL World championship winner did not disappoint his fans.

This is a good Starcraft 2 tips for Zerg and Terran players out there against Protoss who goes for Hallucination plays. The trick is if you have a detector such as a Scan by Terran or Overseers, your units AI will automatically target units that are not hallucinated.

I guess a lot of players do not realise this trick. This is said by Thorzain where he took down oGsMC during their TSL match where Thorzain won 3-2. In the final game 5, MC hallucinated a bunch of Immortals against Thorzain's mass Thor with Strike Cannon build. A Scan from Thorzain acknowledged him that all the Immortals were Hallucination. With the Starcraft 2 unit AI, Thorzain's Thors will automatically target the rest of MC's armies instead of the Hallucinated Immortals.

Thus, with this in mind, you can just use a Scan and 'Attack move with your army'. Your units AI will automatically target the non hallucinated units. Good luck
