GSL 6 May Finals- IMNestea Wins GSL 6

IMNestea wins GSL 6 May after defeating Inca from clan OGS in a straight win set 4-0 record. IMNestea now two times GSL champion sits along the other two times GSL champions, IMMvP and oGsMC. All these three champions representing each races are probably the best in the world right now. IMNestea did not disappoint his fans today in the GSL finals by taking down oGsInca so easily. Nestea seems to have so much confidence coming into today's match.

On the other hand, first time finalist oGsInca seems to be having a rough day. During the round of 32, Inca just managed to sneak a victory from TSL_Rain in a very very close series. Inca proceeded to steamrolled his way through the round of 16, 8 and semifinals with undefeated record. His awesome performance was stop cold on track by non other than IMNestea.

The matches today were very disappointing. It seems that every GSL finals were always a disappointment where one player overwhelm the other; from IMMvp vs MarineKingPrime.we series to oGsMC vs ST_July. Lets just hope we will be getting much better games in the next GSL code S finals.

Here's a brief recap of the finals for those who missed the series.

In game one on Xel'Naga Caverns, Nestea starts with a standard Pool Gas Expansion build, while Inca opts for a weird 2 Gate expo with, a Zealot, Stalker Sentry build. This is probably some of Inca's personnel prepared build going into today's match. According to Inca, he doesn't watch replays and creates his own builds and calling them 'Inca's rule'.

During the game, Nestea turns aggressive with the Losira's ZvP pressure build going for a heavy Roaches with Zerglings pressure at the 7:30 mark. For those of you who are not familiar with this build, this is one of the most common Zerg vs Protoss build currently and a very common Battlenet online game strategy. The build was shown and perfected by IMLosira in his match against Slayers_Alicia. Basically, the Zerg will starts with a normal Pool, Gas, Hatchery build while droning hard on two bases. He will then put down a Roach Warren and trained like 8 Roaches. Next, the Zerg player will only train Zerglings while pressuring the Protoss player. This build shuts down a 3 Gate expansion build by Protoss easily if the Protoss player sits on a heavy Sentries army composition.

Inca having walled himself in front of his natural with a 2 Pylon, 2 Gateway wall without any Forge. Nestea smartly focused down the Pylons and unpowered both the Warpgates and soon overrun Inca with his unending swarm of Zerglings and Roaches.

In Game 2 on Terminus SE, Inca goes for a fast DT build. DT builds are getting very common since the new patch, as failed DT rush can be turn into the newly buffed Archons. Nestea came to the match prepared by putting preemptive Spore Crawlers at both his natural and main base. Failed DT rush, and facing immense pressure by Zerglings at his expansion, Inca decides to turn the Dt's into Archons and pushed with 'Archon and Zealot' army composition. Nestea was able to held off the push and soon Inca GGs.

Game 3 on Crossfire SE. Inca once again goes for the fast DT build and fails once again. Nestea, stayed on two bases and starts to mass a heavy Roach Ling army like game 1. IMNestea showed why he deserves the GSL championship by splitting his army half. An army of Roach at the front of Inca's ramp draws Inca's attention while sneaking a lot of Zerglings into the Protoss's main base and decimate all the Probes. Nestea takes the game soon.

In the final Game 4 on Tel'Darim Altar, Nestea goes for the standard Pool, Gas, Hatchery build (4th time) while oGsInca chooses for a Fast Forge Expansion. Inca once again opts for the Dark Templar build. Nestea managed to easily win the game once again with his superior macro ability.

Final Results
IMNestea (Z) vs oGsInca (P)
4-0

Inca failed to performed today. His choice of going Dark Templars in three of the games were held off easily by Nestea. Facing a superior player such as Nestea today, probably gave Inca a huge pressure. Nestea, the President Zerg showed the world how to properly play the Zerg race once again.

Congratulations to IMNestea for winning GSL 6 May and his second GSL championship Victory.
