GSL 6 May Ro4 Semifinals Result

Nestea proves to everyone he is still the Zerg king. The match between IMNestea and sCfOu was so close and probably the best series in GSL 6 May. sCfOu is actually very very good with his insane micro and timing pushes. Most people are not giving SC enough credit as a top level tier 1 Terran player. Nestea and SC's match boils down to the final game and probably the most epic game I have seen for a long time.

In the final game 5 on Crossfire SE, for those who are not familiar with this map, this is a GSL 2 player map. This is often regarded as a non Zerg map and pro Terran/Protoss due to its multiple choke points design. This seriously gives the Terran player multiple locations to set up Siege Tanks. Zergs are having a hard time getting up a second natural / third base at the top left or bottom right of the map.

In this epic game 5, Nestea spawns at 1 position and SC at the 7 o clock position. Nestea opens with a fast second Hatchery at the top left spot. SC scouts the expansion at the top left with a hidden SCV and this prompt a push from SC with Marines and Siege Tanks. Nestea managed to cleared up the push with a flank front both sides but just by slightly. A second attack was sent out by SC once again and this too was cleared by Nestea with an army of Roach and Banelings.

Nestea loses the expansion finally and sneak out another one at the 2 o clock position. Finally, SC went and sent a large army of Siege Tanks and Marines siegeing up at outside Nestea's natural. At this point, SC has lost all his SCVs to Mutalisks and has no income. Nestea on the other hand has a hidden expansion but not the army to hold the push. Both armies stare at each other for some time, which the Siege Tanks slowly leapfrog to the natural. Nestea loses his natural and force to back up into his main base. It all comes down to the 2 Infestors Nestea had build. 2 Fungal Growths managed to take down the Marines pushing into the main base and Zerglings and Mutalisks clears up the remaining Tanks and Thors. The match itself is so close to the point that, a mistake by Nestea will cost him the game. However, Nestea the God of Zerg did perfectly what should be done in the tense situation. Finally, Nestea moves on the his seconds GSL finals and probably claiming his second GSL championship.

On the other hand, the match between the oGs members, oGsNada and oGsInca wasn't as good. Inca managed to steal 2 wins from Nada with good cheeses and 1 base timing push of Void Rays + Gate for Game 1 and a 4 gate push in game 2. In game 3 on Crevasse, Nada was very ahead when he sniped Inca's Nexus at his expansion. Nada was at 3 bases with a 4th on its way at this point. However, Nada did a huge mistake by sending his Marauders to try sniping down Inca's expansion. Multiple Storms was casted on the Maruaders but Nada insisted in his move and continue to focus down the Nexus. Nada lost most of his army and pulled back but the Nexus is still alive. A counter from Inca all the way into Nada's main base gets a GG from Nada.

oGsInca will be facing IMNestea in the finals of GSL 6 May. Will Nestea wins his second GSL alongside with previous champions such as oGsMC and IMMvp; both who had won 2 GSLs or oGsINca the best PvP player in Starcraft 2 claims his throne?
