Terran will never lose to early 6,7,8 or 10 Pool rushes from Zerg players with proper scout. If your ally has scouted a fast 6 Spawning Pool from one or more Zergs quickly put the your second Barracks to complete your wall. With just a Marine out, Zerglings will not be able to break your wall. You may require some SCVs to repair the damaged Supply Depot at times.
Here's how Terran walls generally look like.
- This is a very normal Starcraft 2 online game Terran wall placement looks like in team games.
- Place the first Supply depot at one corner. In this case, I would prefer to place it on the left side which will let me raising and lowering the Depot with ease.
- If you are placing the Depot on the top corner, you may be having some trouble later when lowering or raising the Supply Depot.
- Next, place the first Barracks at the top corner.
- Finally, finish and complete the wall with a second Barracks if you are going for a early second Rax with heavy Marines.
- Some Starcraft 2 online game team maps have a wider ramp.
- You will basically be using the same way as above to set up your wall.
- Here, I have place the Supply Depot at the right corner, to ease me when raising and lowering the Depot.
- Sometimes, you may need a second Supply Depot to complete your wall.
- Pay attention to my Rally Points in this snapshot.
- I prefer to rally my units next to my Supply Depot. First this deals more damage when enemy units are walking up the ramp before they gain vision.
- Secondly, I can send out my units faster. This probably only creates around 1 second difference but we should do anything that gives us an advantage in the game.
- To set the rally points as shown, first select your Barracks and hold down SHIFT button. Next use the RIGHT click to set the Rally points.
